  32. Thanks for the info, that was the problem.  I got a very helpful email
  33. from Supra tech support and rebuilt the Supra entry for my modem.inf file. 
  34. I didn't even check the %C1 code but looking at my docs that appears to be
  35. the problem.  I hate non-standard commands.  Checking the 6 modem manuals
  36. I have with me (Multi-Tech, Zypcom, AT&T, Moto Power, Moto Lifestyle, and
  37. Supra) only the Supra uses %C3.  And the Reference Card still says %C1. 
  38. Damn, it's not Microsoft's fault.  Oh well, it works now and I was getting
  39. 5-6k/sec downloads on .exe files this weekend.  Just want to say again
  40. that Supra has performed as expected and helped me
